Redmi 10 with Snapdragon 680 SoC launched in India
The budget-oriented Redmi 10 Android smartphone has been launched in India.

Its pricing has been set at Rs 10,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The phone is also available in a 6GB + 128GB configuration for Rs 12,999.
The Redmi 10 will be available for purchase from 12 pm on March 24 via Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home, and select offline retail shops. It is available in three colours: Caribbean Green, Midnight Black, and Pacific Blue.
Launch offer includes Rs 1,000 immediate discount for those who purchase the device using an HDFC Bank credit card or credit card EMIs.
Redmi 10 specifications
It runs on a rather outdated Android 11 with MIUI 13 on top. There’s a 6.7-inch FHD+ display here with a 20.6:9 aspect ratio and a max brightness of 400 nits. Additionally, a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protects the display.
The Redmi 10 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. Additionally, it can theoretically enlarge the RAM by up to 2GB by utilising the built-in storage.
A dual rear camera arrangement with a 50MP main sensor and an f/1.8 lens and a 2MP portrait sensor is included here. At the front, there’s a 5MP camera sensor for selfies and video calls.
The device comes with up to 128GB of inbuilt UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded through a microSD card via a dedicated slot.
It is equipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone socket. An accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor are all included onboard. Additionally, there is a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
The phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at a rate of 18W. However, the charger that comes with it is only capable of charging at a maximum of 10W.
