Redmi 9A, Redmi Earphones launched in India
- The budget-centric Redmi 9A has been launched in India at Rs 6,799-7,499. It will go on sale from September 4 via Amazon India and Xiaomi’s official sales channels.
- It is powered by MediaTek’s new Helio G25 SoC with 2/3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
- Up front, the smartphone sports a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display of HD+ resolution with a waterdrop-style notch up top for its 5MP selfie camera.
- The battery of this device is rather large at 5,000mAh. What’s more is that it recharges via a modern USB-C connector.
- Since it is a budget smartphone by Xiaomi, the Redmi 9A only has a single camera at the back which includes a 13MP sensor and an LED flash.
- Also launched are the new Redmi Earphones at Rs 399 which have an in-ear design with an aluminium sound chamber. These wired earphones will go on sale from September 7.
