Redmi Buds 3 Pro with ANC official; may launch in India as Poco Pop Buds
The new Redmi Buds 3 Pro have been revealed as the global version of the Mi Airdots 3 Pro. They are priced at USD 60 (~Rs 4,500).
However, in India, these may launch under Poco as the brand already acknowledged that it has been working on a pair of TWS Bluetooth earbuds a while back. The name of these buds was previously confirmed to be Poco Pop Buds.
While that’s speculation, let’s talk about the specifications. The Redmi Buds 3 Pro has 9mm drivers that have been “tuned by Xiaomi’s internal sound lab”, whatever that means.
The earbuds also feature 3 mics for ANC (active noise cancellation) voice pickup. The former is claimed to block up to 35dB of outside noise. Then, two more modes – transparency and enhanced voice – complete the package.
Connectivity happens via Bluetooth 5.2 and the Buds 3 Pro can simultaneously connect to 2 devices at the same time.
The overall claimed battery life here is rated at 28 hours with ANC turned off. The Redmi Buds 3 Pro also feature Qi wireless charging as well as fast wired USB-C charging where 10 minutes of charging can deliver 3 hours of playback.
