Royal Enfield Scram 411 leaks online
Royal Enfield Scram 411 is allegedly the name of the Chennai-based motorcycle brand’s new upcoming offering.
A new leak of the motorcycle (source unknown) suggests that the Royal Enfield Scram 411 will be based on the Himalayan, but will be a more road-focused version of the latter.
The ‘Scram 411’ name is speculative since Royal Enfield recently filed a trademark for it.
The obvious changes as per leak include a new headlamp cowl, a smaller front wheel (Himalayan gets a big 21-inch front tyre), no front subframe, new tank shrouds, lack of a luggage rack, and a revised instrument cluster.
Since there’s a 411 in its suffix, this new upcoming motorcycle is expected to use the same 411cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder unit from the Himalayan. This motor generates 24.31hp of power and 32Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed transmission comes standard.
The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is expected to be priced lower than the Himalayan, which currently retails for around Rs 1.91 lakh (ex-showroom).
