Royole FlexPai 2 launch on March 25
- Royole FlexPai, the first foldable smartphone of the world, is confirmed to get a successor on March 25. Originally, the FlexPai 2 was to be revealed at the cancelled MWC 2020.
- While there are no leaks or teasers of the upcoming smartphone, it is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC which will make it the most powerful foldable smartphone on sale.
- The original model was only sold in China, but it managed to get a lot of media attention from the west. Therefore, it remains to be seen if the Royole FlexPai 2 goes global or not.
- The previous-gen smartphone launched at around ~USD 1,300, so we can expect its predecessor to retain this value-for-money proposition.
