Samsung A31 revealed with 5,000mAh battery
- Samsung has been equipping its 2020 smartphones with big batteries, and the new Galaxy A31 is no different with its 5,000mAh cell. It also supports 15W charging over a USB-C port.
- Samsung has not officially revealed the chip powering the new A31, but it is speculated to be the MediaTek Helio P65, quite unusual for a Samsung phone. The phone has 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage.
- The display on this smartphone is a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint reader. However, unlike the A51, there is no display cutout here and this phone has to do with an old-school U-shaped notch for its 20MP selfie camera.
- The Samsung A31 has 4 cameras at the back which consist of a 48MP f/2.0 main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 5MP dedicated macro camera, and 5MP depth sensor.
- Expected to be launched soon in India, the Samsung A31 will go against the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Realme 6 Pro, Poco X2, and its own cousin, the Galaxy M31.
