Samsung Galaxy M40 launched at Rs 19,990
- The Galaxy M40 is the latest and the most premium member of the Galaxy M-series. It is priced at Rs 19,990 will be sold via Amazon India and Samsung Online Shop from June 18.
- The Samsung M40 brings S10-like hole-punch display to the mid-range phone segment. It’s 6.3-inch Infinity-O LCD display is of FHD+ resolution with a hole in its upper left corner which houses the 16MP selfie camera.
- Powering the Samsung M40 is a Snapdragon 675 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity here is 3,500mAh with 15W fast charging over USB-C.
- There are 3 rear cameras on this phone – a 32MP f/1.7 primary sensor with AI scene optimiser, an 8MP ultra-wide angle shooter with 123-degree field of view and a 5MP depth sensor.
- The Samsung Galaxy M40 comes with Screen Sound technology which uses the display panel to generate audio vibrations, so a conventional earpiece is absent here. But weirdly enough for a mid-ranger, the M40 has no headphone jack!
