Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ official
Samsung has introduced its Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ flagship smartphones. This is the first time that the Note series gets a ‘Plus’ variant. Also, both phones come without a headphone jack.
Galaxy Note 10+
- The Note 10+ is confirmed to have a starting price of Rs 79,999 in India.
- It comes with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with curved edges and QHD+ resolution. The screen also has HDR10+ and Dynamic Tone Mapping for better image quality. Interestingly, the hole punch on this display is in its upper centre.
- The Note 10+ comes with 4 rear cameras. The main shooter here is a 12MP sensor with variable f/1.5-f/2.4 aperture. Then, its joined by a 12MP telephoto camera, a 16MP ultra wide-angle camera and a ToF sensor for 3D depth mapping. The selfie shooter is a 10MP sensor.
- Depending on the region, this phone will either be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC or Samsung’s new and improved Exynos 9825 SoC (India will get the latter). Samsung is offering 12GB of RAM as standard while ROM options will be 256GB or 512GB.
- The S Pen on the Note 10 series now gets accelerometer and gyroscope to make it a better motion controller. Samsung is also opening up the Air Actions SDK for app developers to use S Pen features in new ways.
- The battery capacity on the Samsung Note 10+ stands at 4,300mAh. New 45W Super Fast Charging will be supported, however, only a 25W fast charger will be a part of the retail box. one in the box. As expected, reverse wireless charging is standard as well.
Galaxy Note 10
- The standard Note 10’s price in India is confirmed to be Rs 69,999.
- The Samsung Note 10 uses a smaller 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a lower FHD+ resolution. All other aspects of this screen remain identical to that of the Note 10+.
- In terms of cameras, the Note 10 misses out on a ToF sensor, otherwise, the rear 3 cameras, as well as the selfie shooter, is carried over from Plus model.
- The battery capacity here is also smaller at 3,500mAh. However, the 45W fast charging support isn’t standard. This phone gets only 25W charging.
- Finally, while the chipset and internal storage options on the Samsung Note 10 will be shared with the Plus model, its RAM is ‘just’ 8GB. Surprisingly though, this one gets no expandable storage.
