Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 renders show in-display front camera
While the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has already been leaked before in renders alongside the Z Flip 3, new renders of the former hint at what might be its highlight feature – an in-display camera.
New renders of the upcoming foldable smartphone by Ice Universe show its inner display to be hiding a camera underneath it. No, we’re not talking of a hole punch here, but a true under-display camera with working pixels on top of it.
While ZTE has already launched this concept in the Axon 20, its implementation is rather crude. Hopefully, Samsung will have something better to offer on the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The renders show that the camera will not completely be invisible since there will be a thinner layer of pixels on top of it.
Anyway, expected to be revealed on August 11 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the One UI Watch-powered Galaxy Watch 4, the Z Fold 3’s rumoured main specs include Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 7.55-inch 120Hz folding display and a 6.23-inch 120Hz outer display.
Interestingly, the smartphone will also have S-Pen support as well as some form of IP water resistance. Rumours also suggest that it will be more affordable than its predecessor. Fingers crossed!
