Samsung S22 Snapdragon 898 version may launch in India
According to a report from South Korea-based Clien, Snapdragon-powered Samsung S22 phones would be available in Southeast Asia and India. The source also claims that the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S22 would also be released in Korea, China, and Hong Kong.
Also, Samsung and Verizon are reportedly in talks to introduce Exynos-powered Galaxy S22 series in the United States, according to the report. Meanwhile, the Exynos processor is expected to power the Galaxy S22 series in Europe, South America, and other areas.
However, because Samsung has yet to make a final decision, we may have to wait a while for confirmation.

The only Snapdragon chipset-power Galaxy S-series phone we’ve got in India recently is the S20 FE 5G. Otherwise, the S-series in India has used Samsung’s home-brewed Exynos chipsets for quite some time now. This has been disappointing for many Samsung fans since Exynos has struggled to keep up with Snapdragon since 2017.
Samsung S22 launch date and specifications
The Samsung S22 series is projected to be released in January 2022. The new 200MP camera with Olympus branding will most likely be the S22 Ultra’s primary feature. The next-generation Galaxy S smartphones are expected to include 120Hz screens.
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ are also likely to have triple rear camera systems, while the Ultra is rumoured to have a quad-camera arrangement, with a 200MP primary sensor with Olympus branding being its major talking point.
Depending on the region, Samsung’s next flagship series will be powered by either the Snapdragon 898 SoC or the Exynos 2200 SoC.
