Skoda Rapid Rider launched in India
- To boost the sales of its aging Rapid mid-sizer, Skoda has launched the Rapid Rider limited edition model of the car at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
- The Skoda Rapid Rider is based on the entry-level Active variant of the car. It will be only sold in two colour options – Candy White and Carbon Steel.
- Even though it’s a base model, notable equipment on the car includes side black decals, telescopic steering, 2 DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and day-night IRVM.
- The limited edition Rapid Rider will be only sold with the 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine which makes 104 bhp/ 153 Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
