Tata Harrier gets optional sunroof
- The Tata Harrier is now available with an optional sunroof which is offered as a part of Tata Motors Genuine Accessories. It is priced at Rs 95,100 (installation charges extra).
- The electric sunroof is made by Webasto, a popular Germany-based sunroof OEM. It is offered with a 2-year warranty and can be fitted from any Tata dealership.
- The Harrier’s segment has heated up since its launch early this year. Newcomers like the Kia Seltos and MG Hector have generated a crazy amount of hype, and consequently, only 740 units of the Harrier were dispatched to Tata dealers in July 2019, down from its peak of 2,492 in March.
- To make up for the falling demand, it’s a logical setup for Tata to offer more premium equipment on the Harrier. It’s worth noting that both Hector and Seltos come heavily loaded with features which have played a key role in their success in India.
