Tata Punch interior spied
Before the Indian automaker could release official pictures, the interior of the Tata Punch has been spotted and leaked online.
Tata has already revealed the outside appearance of its new product with a series of photos and videos, but has remained tight-lipped on the inside design.
Although spy photos of the interior of the Punch have previously appeared online, they could only reveal the cabin area and not the actual design of the dashboard owing to the fact that it was hidden.
This current photograph of the Punch’s inside, on the other hand, contains all the required information. The dashboard is dual-toned and stepped, and several pieces have been taken from the Altroz premium hatchback.
A semi-digital instrument cluster, a multifunctional steering wheel, an infotainment touchscreen, central air vents with blue accents, and air-conditioning controls, all derived from Altroz, are also present.
From the pic, it looks like auto climate control, cruise control, smartphone connectivity, and other amenities like driving modes will also be included in this micro SUV.

This funky interior colour palette complements this car and should appeal to Punch’s target clientele, which is the millennial crowd. On the outside, it also has a genuine crossover appearance thanks to the large quantity of body cladding and a Nexon-like upright stance.
The Tata Punch is expected to be launched this holiday season with two petrol engines, both displacing 1199cc and available in normally aspirated and turbocharged versions. There will be two gearbox options available: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
Unofficial bookings for the Punch have already begun around the country, and Tata should make a formal statement regarding the opening of order books soon. It is expected to be positioned between the Tiago and Altroz in Tata’s lineup.
With Hyundai Casper’s launch in India allegedly not happening, the only real rival of the Punch would be the Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
