Vivo V17 launched in India
- The new Vivo V17, which succeeds the V15 from earlier this year, has been launched in India at Rs 22,990.
- Unlike its predecessor which had a pop-up selfie camera, the V17 packs a hole punch on the upper right corner of its 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. There’s also an in-display fingerprint reader here.
- Powering this smartphone is a Snapdragon 675 chipset which comes mated with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity of this phone is pretty large at 4,500mAh.
- At the back, the Vivo V17 comes with 4 rear cameras. The primary sensor here is a 48MP unit that’s mated to an f/1.8 lens. Then, you have an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies here are taken care of by a 32MP front sensor.
- Launching on Android 9 Pie with Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS 9, the V17 will go on sale in India from December 17.
