Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G launched with 120W charging
The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G and Xiaomi 11i 5G have been launched in India. The former brings 120W wired charging as standard, the fastest ever seen on any smartphone in the country.
The base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge costs Rs 26,999 in India. The phone is also available in an 8GB + 128GB model for Rs 28,999. The Xiaomi 11i 5G, on the other hand, costs Rs 24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and Rs 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model.
In terms of availability, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G and Xiaomi 11i 5G will be available in India beginning Wednesday, January 12. Both phones will be sold through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home shops, and offline merchants.
Both the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G and the Xiaomi 11i have launch incentives that include a Rs 1,500 ‘New Year’ discount and up to Rs. 2,500 cashback when using SBI cards. Existing Redmi Note phone customers would receive an extra Rs 4,000 exchange rebate in lieu of their phones.
Along with the Xiaomi 11i series, Xiaomi announced the 120W HyperCharge Adapter Combo, which comes packed with the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G and will be offered separately for Rs 3,999.

The 11i HyperCharge runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 and has a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display also offers a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, a pixel density of 395ppi, and a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and up to 8GB RAM.
The phone boasts a triple rear camera configuration for photographs and movies, with a 108MP primary Samsung HM2 sensor with an f/1.89 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. It also has a 16MP selfie camera sensor with an f/2.45 lens on the front.
The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G features two speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio certification. It features a glass body and IP53 dust and water resistance certification.
The phone has a 4,500mAh dual-cell lithium polymer battery that allows rapid charging up to 120W with a compatible charger is bundled in the retail box. Using the included charger, the battery is said to charge from 0 to 100 in about 15 minutes.
Except for the battery, the Xiaomi 11i 5G is similar to the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G in every way. The standard model has a single-cell 5,160mAh battery that can charge at a maximum of 67W. Xiaomi has included a compatible charger with the phone.
