Xiaomi 12X India launch soon
According to 91Mobiles, the recently-revealed Xiaomi 12X flagship killer is set to launch in India very soon.
The phone will come in two RAM and storage configurations: one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and the other with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In addition, the Xiaomi 12X will be available in purple, blue, and grey in India.
While the precise price of the smartphone is unknown at this time, the Xiaomi 12X is expected to cost around Rs 40,000 in India. This will squarely put it against the OnePlus 9RT, which is also expected to launch soon in the country.
Starting with the display, the 12X has a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED unit with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and a brightness of up to 1100 nits.
The 12X is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which is the upgraded version of the Snapdragon 865+ from 2020, but still pretty powerful nonetheless if you want a balanced performance. On the software front, the Xiaomi 12X comes pre-installed with MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
The 12X features a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 5MP telemacro camera for photography. The device has a 32MP selfie camera on the front. Finally, the 12X comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging through USB Type-C.
Globally, the flagship-rade Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro have also gone official alongside the 12X. Both these phones feature superior camera hardware and are powered by the flagship Snapdragon Gen 1 SoC. We expect these two phones to also launch in India soon.
