Xiaomi Pad 5 official with Snapdragon 860 SoC
Just like the Xioami 11T series, its latest tablet also drops the famous ‘Mi’ branding, so, say hello to the new Xiaomi Pad 5.
Xiaomi Pad 5 specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 5 runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 for Pad and boasts an 11-inch WQHD+ (1,600×2,560 pixel) display with 120Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, and compatibility for Dolby Vision and HDR10.
It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor and 6GB of RAM as standard. The Android tablet has a storage capacity of 128GB or 256GB. Face Unlock is available on the tablet, and so is split-screen multitasking.

An 8,720mAh battery powers this tab which supports up to 33W of fast wired charging. However, this Euro-spec version of the Pad 5 ships with a lower-powered 22.5W charging brick in the box.
The tablet is available in Europe from EUR 349. We expect the Pad 5 to launch in India in October 2021 and its price in India will be revealed then. It should be priced close to the base iPad in our market.
Xiaomi Smart Pen specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 5 is compatible with the new Xiaomi Smart Pen, which was just launched alongside it. It has two buttons: one for taking quick notes and the other for taking rapid screenshots.
The Smart Pen weighs only 12.2 grams and has a pressure sensitivity of 4,096 levels. It features interchangeable TPE soft tips and supports gesture navigation. The magnetic clip-on may also be used to charge the Xiaomi Smart Pen wirelessly. Xiaomi says that charging takes only 18 minutes.
