Yamaha FZ-X launched in India
The new Yamaha FZ-X has been launched in India at Rs 1.17 lakh-1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). It is based on the 150cc version of the FZ.
Featuring a Benelli Leoncino-esque look, the neo-retro scrambler design of the FZ-X is unique to the 150cc segment. Right from the fuel tank to the wider, taller and flatter seat – the elements here are all new when compared to the standard FZ streetfighter.
The instrument cluster on the 2021 Yamaha FZ-X is also brand new with its all-digital design and optional Bluetooth compatibility for smartphone compatibility.
Powering its semi-scrambler is a 149cc single-cylinder engine that is capable of generating 12.4hp of max power and 13.3Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. With those modest numbers, don’t expect it to be a performance-oriented machine.
For safety, the bike features a single-channel ABS as standard on both non-Bluetooth and Bluetooth variants.
