Yamaha Ray ZR Hybrid launched in India
Yamaha Motor India has launched the Ray ZR Hybrid, which starts at Rs 76,830 (ex-showroom). The Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Hybrid has also been released with a price tag of Rs 83,830 (ex-showroom).
Both versions are powered by the same 125cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces a maximum of 8.2 PS at 6500 RPM and 10.3 Nm at 5000 RPM.
The Yamaha Ray ZR Hybrid model follows the recently launched Fascino Hybrid. It weighs 99 kg and includes a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology that offers power assistance for three seconds while accelerating from a standstill and an automated engine stop-start.
Equipment on the 2021 Ray ZR includes an LED headlamp (disc variant only), an LED position light, a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth communication via the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X app (disc variant only), a side stand engine cut-off feature, and a 21-litre under-seat storage compartment.
The upper-end Street Rally model also comes equipped with metal plates, coloured wheel stripes, brush guards, and block pattern tyres.
